I'm in LHJ & Working Mother Magazine!

It's always nice to see your name in print no matter how big or small, I was excited to participate in an interview along with my son for Working Mother's Magazine and to be quoted in LHJ (Ladies Home Journal)  All You Mag asked to use some of my story for a Mother's Day issue, but we couldn't get my digital images to work properly, so we shall see if that pans out.

I participated in a few surveys sent by LHJ. I always get a kick out of the interesting questions that they ask. They quoted me on an answer that asked about the show Desperate Housewives!

I love you all, and this is my last week in this fitness challenge, so I will be more consistent with my blogging. I know you're getting tired of hearing about it all the time, but I have lost 13 additional lbs. in the last 7 weeks and I am 7 lbs away from my goal weight.. Yaayy!

LEXUS Fashion *Style* Show @ Playhouse Square!

Mr. Parks and I headed out Thursday night to attend The Lexus Style Show presented by Beachwood Place. Talk about a *FANTASTIC* event!

The evening started out with a meet & greet with trunk shows, cocktails & hors d'oeuvres. We were all given a Lexus swag bag to put our goodies in.

They also had two tremendous giveaways for $500 & $5000, I entered both *of course* but didn't win. *pout* Now on to the show!

 Here I am, so excited  to get into the show and see what it was all about.

One of the Beachwood model's shoes, Mr. Parks took a liking to. He was standing on a box the entire cocktail hour time and made us laugh by saying he was starving looking at all the food walking past him, and the fact that he was in the gym @ 5:30 a.m. and only had 2 apples the day before so he could look his best!

These little acrobats were amazing, flipping and swinging around like nobody's business.

This one was one of my faves.. So spring-like!

 As you know just how busy I've been lately with my fitness challenge and all (5 weeks down, and 3 to go!) but I wanted to let some of my fellow bloggers know something exciting that I am up to as well!
